I. a. Cisco Storage and HPC 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Disaster Recovery readiness is fast becoming a pervasive posture and direction among all industry areas due to the backdrop of natural disasters, terrorism and security attacks. As well, High Performance Computing is growing as a tool to deliver compute systems availability, and reduced server costs while increasing application resiliency and processing power.

In this session Cisco delivers a background on networking solutions that are used to establish an effective disaster recovery network architecture and create HPC environments. Cisco's Industry leading MDS storage solution will be covered as well as networked storage impact on the network. Also with regard to HPC and server virtualization, Cisco's industry leading SFS 7000 and SFS 3000 Infiniband platforms will be covered.

I. b. Data Center 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Data Center design is evolving as ever increasing applications are delivered to users for institutional business goals.

In this session Cisco delivers an update on solutions to scale the Data Center to accommodate growing applications requirements. Cisco's ACE, AVS, and WAAS will be covered focusing in on technologies such a internet load balancing, server load balancing, DNS load balancing, application acceleration with LAN speeds over the WAN, and TCP optimization.

II. NJEDge Detail Edge Design 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

NJEDge is closing in on the new NJEDge core network for end CY2006 beginning CY2007.

In this session Cisco will deliver updates concerning architectures with edge routing and switching platforms that will interface with the new NJEDge core network. A tie-in of Voice over IP, Security and Storage will be delivered as well. Although lecture and update format this will also be an open dialog scenario among members for feedback.

I. Cisco Unified Communications 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Unified Communications continues to grow across industries and benefit the customer and Service Providers equally. It enables lower cost models to both from a support scenario and provides the ability to enrich user experience for enhanced voice, presence, video and data applications.

In this session Cisco delivers an update on its latest release of Call Manager( Call Manager 5.0) and discusses it benefits for carrier based IP trunk telephony, SIP, presence and video. Also included in this session is an update on Cisco's Rich Media Architecture where Telephony Video solutions, video conferencing, teleconferencing and collaboration will be discussed.

II. Cisco Unified Security 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Security continues to be a concern for many institutions since traditional worms and viruses are no longer the only threat issue, but financial theft, identity theft and resource hijacking as well.

This session covers Cisco solutions that enable superior mitigation to attack exposure, theft and systems compromise. These tools also create decisive alerts and exact audit trails when attacks do occur. Cisco's IPS, CSA, CCA, PIX and MARS will be covered.
