| Michael Zastrocky, Ed.D., is a vice president and research director in Gartner Research, where he specializes in higher education, including distributed learning/e-learning, administrative computing issues, academic computing on campus, networking and telecommunications, and strategic planning. He is also a trustee for several higher education institutions. Mr. Zastrocky has more than 25 years of diverse experience in higher education. Prior to joining Gartner, he served as vice president of CAUSE, the international association for managing and using information resources in higher education. He was also vice president of the Kaludis Consulting Group and has served as a professor, assistant dean and chief information officer at various institutions. Mr. Zastrocky earned a bachelor's degree from Regis University, a master's degree from the University of Denver and a doctorate in education from the University of Northern Colorado. | ![]() |
