CIO Forum - NJEDge.Net IT Conference 2004
- CIO LEADERSHIP FORUM (By invitation
only / conference registration required)
-
The NJ Higher Education Chief Information Officers are organizing the 2nd
CIO Leadership Forum at this year's NJEDge.Net Annual Conference. This peer
event will run on Tuesday, October 12, 2004 from 11:30 until 2:00, including
lunch. The discussion will be based on Educause's
5th Annual Survey identifying CIO's most critical IT challenges. The
first Forum, held at the RITE conference this past spring, was very successful
and the participants strongly confirmed the value of continuing this kind
of peer exchange among campus technology leaders.
This forum will provide an opportunity for you to network with your peers
and rub elbows with Steve Worona
of Educause and Kenneth (Casey) Green
of The Computing Project.
In addition to this exciting CIO Leadership Forum, the Annual NJEDge.Net
Conference is hosting a special
dinner event where Presidents are invited to bring key members of their
executive team to explore the Future of Higher Education. We have crafted
a unique program designed to stimulate critical thinking, explore developing
trends and facilitate planning for institutional resources in these fast-changing
times.
-
The CIO Forum is by invitation only and open to CIOs of NJ's colleges and
universities attending the conference. Our conference
begins with preconference workshops on Monday, followed by the President/CIO
special dinner. The formal program begins on
Tuesday morning and runs through Wednesday afternoon. Of special interest
to the CIOs is the concurrent track session on Policy
Issues and Institutional Strategic Planning.
After registering for the conference, please RSVP for this event and the
Monday night dinner by September 20th using
this form. Questions can be sent to Genti Price at the NJEDge.Net office
via email or by calling 973 596-5490.
