October 11, 12, 13
Call for Proposals / Submission Form for ePosters

At the NJEDge.Net Conference, New Jersey faculty and staff will present uses of technology and new instructional methodologies. The focus of the ePosters includes a wide range of technology applications as well as new pedagogical approaches, such as collaborative learning.

You may submit an ePoster for any of the four tracks to be highlighted at the conference. These include:

ePoster presenters are encouraged to demonstrate a range of new applications related to the four tracks. The goal of the presentations should be to introduce attendees to innovative teaching methods and technologies that they might incorporate into their own courses or systems and processes on their campuses.

The Conference Program includes the schedule of ePoster sessions.

Proposals are being accepted immediately and will be reviewed until all ePoster slots are filled.

Conference registration is ongoing.

What is a Poster/ePoster?

The best way to describe a poster sesssion is to say that it is a cross between a flea market and a science fair. There is a large, open space in which numerous presenters are set up at separate tables. People move from display to display and engage in conversation or look at displays or see demos or take in presentations from the various poster presenters. You can be as formal or as informal as you like, perhaps waiting until a small group of people comes by to talk about your project, or explaining your work to each individual, or scheduling a more structured presentation that will "run" at specific times during the session. You have the flexibility to decide which approach(es) to use when you get there and have the opportunity to see the nature of the group and how many stop by. A banner or physical poster displaying the title of your presentation and basic information about you and your institution can enhance your presentation. An "ePoster" simply means that you will have wireless Internet access and that presenters are encouraged to use electronic media. If you intend to connect to the Internet, then your laptop must be equipped with a wireless card. You may also bring a physical poster and stand, a banner, handouts, and business cards. Projectors and screens are not necessary. You will have space at an assigned table plus chairs for each presenter.
