ePoster: A Practical Implimentation of Multicast

This presentation will provide a step by step example guide to configuring a test environment for the distribution of multicast on a campus. It will provide a best practices guide for the setup of common layer 2 and layer 3 devices for multicast. Including the use of freely available tools to test, send, and receive multicast. Audience: those who have not yet been exposed to multicast and are wishing to initiate a test bed which can then be used for practical implementation on a campus.
