ePoster: A New Pedagogical Method and Just-in-Time, On-demand Accessible, 3D Interactive Multimedia Case-based Approach to Engineering Education

Paul G. Ranky, NJIT [bio]

In today’s Enterprise the need is for the continuous generation of new and more productive responses from Product / Process and Service System Development. The spiraling changes create the conditions for requiring generative thinking. The difference between participative learning and generative thinking is the difference between best practices and best processes for creating new and better responses i.e. thinking better. The capability required is that the human performer can generate new and more productive ways of doing things under all circumstances. The system is further complicated by the fact, that everything is global and just-in-time on-demand 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week on an international basis.

The paper addresses the above challenges, and offers a sound pedagogical method, as well as implemented and tested solutions.
