Biography

Nancy Lestrange has 20 years of experience in using, providing and managing technology in Higher Education. She has successfully worked on two Sungard BANNER implementations at New Jersey public institutions. Her experience in higher education administrative systems also includes delivery of student, faculty and employee web services. Currently, Nancy serves as the Director of Information Systems at Raritan Valley Community College in North Branch, New Jersey.

See how Raritan communicates with Students, Staff and Faculty -- via the portal and wireless/mobile devices -- while offering convenient access to on-line services. Review the Registration, Admissions, Faculty Advising, Financial Budgeting, Web Time Entry services and many more.

The presentation will consist of a brief historical view of the RVCC webservices and how it has evolved into an integrated portal with our administrative database. We have designed a virtual Enrollment Center where students can perform admissions, registration, financial aid and bursar functions from one click of the portal. This involved a project team of our webdeveloper, Registrar, Advising & Counseling and Student Accounts Receivable and IT. Lestrange also intends to feature the employee and faculty portal and the integrating with WebCt.
