Workshop Description Workshop Three: Gaming in Education When: Wednesday 2:00 - 5:00, Room TBA Gayle Stein, Associate Director for Instructional Technology Kids like to play games. Studies have shown that a great deal of learning occurs during play. But, for some reason, and at some time in our lives, we stop playing as a means of learning. We believe that this needs to be changed. Join Rutgers' staff as we show you some ways to use games for learning. You'll have the opportunity to play board games, online games, PC games, and console games and learn something about international trade, American History, business strategy, protein chemistry, and the environment. |
