This workshop is to prepare staff at institutions that need Shibboleth to work with NJvid.
There will be six 30-min components which will be presented.
• Overview of Identity Management policies and services
• Directory requirements to support Shibboleth
• Single sign-on
• Shibboleth concepts
• Implementing a Shibboleth Identity Provider
• Policy issues related to being a member of an identity management federation
Single sign-on is needed because Shibboleth normally depends upon a single sign on service to do authentication.
