- Rutgers University, Currently Rutgers University are using systems from two vendors. Primarily we use GTCO Calcomp's "Interwrite PRS" (installed in 8 lecture halls), and eInstruction CPS system installed in one lecture hall. All of these are infrared systems, we plan to try the Interwrite PRS radio-frequency version this summer. The choice of which system to use is complicated by the bundling of these systems with textbooks - faculty usually want to use the version that their textbook publisher supplies, this means that we may move towards the RF versions which are portable and easy to set up, instead of the IR versions permanently installed in classrooms.
